Melbourne, Australia
6th to 8th June 1998

Yarra River & Southgate Complex, South BankWent around the city and saw Melbourne's most obvious central landmarks, Flinders Station and St Paul's Cathedral. Also went past the State Library and Chinatown. I managed to shop at Daimaru, Block Arcade and the Queen Victoria Market, a traditional open-air market which spreads over 7 hectares. Never miss the South Bank where the Yarra River (left), Southgate Complex and Crown Casino are located.

Spent one night with a family friend who took me to the Dandenongs by car. On a cold morning, the bluish hue of the Dandenong Mountain beckoned us to enjoy the forest scenery with breathtaking views of the City and Port Phillip Bay. Had hot scones with butter and jam for the first time in my life, for breakfast.
